ABOUT

Esen Kılıç (b. 1999, Burlington, Canada) is a Turkish artist working primarily through painting and image-based observation. Her practice explores collective rituals of leisure, play, memory, and movement through coastal landscapes and atmospheric figurative scenes. Developed through periods spent across the Mediterranean, Anatolia and East Africa; her works draw from personal archives, fleeting gestures, and anthropological observation, operating between documentation and abstraction.
